Nintendo Wii, el nombre definitivo de la Revolution

Si no fuera porque son nuestros compañeros de Vidaextra los que nos lo confirman, yo tampoco me hubiera creído que Nintendo sea tan torpe de cambiar el nombre de la Revolution, que me gustaba y sonaba muy bien, y al que además la gente se había acostumbrado, por el soso calificativo de Wii. Lo han tratado de arreglar con una nota de prensa explicativa de por qué el nombre

Más o menos viene a decir que Wii suena como we, lo que nos transmite la idea de conjunto, de comunidad, y además, y en eso llevan razón, es un nombre que no presenta complicaciones en ninguna lengua, además de ser fácil de recordar.
